Born in Argentina, Yamilla’s father was a doctor and her mother was a manager in health care. She and her two sisters are Lebanese and Spanish, there names are Yael and Maria. Growing up in Argentina, yamilla had no interest in modeling and actually had started schooling for Economics in Buenos Aires. In 1996, this all changed for yamilla.
She is now one of the best looking woman in the modeling industry. She is not the new spokesperson for Cover Girl and makes regular appearances in Victoria’s Secret.
This success has taken hard work on the part of yamilla Diaz. Her first two years she mainly did layouts for department store catalogues. In 1999 she did some work for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition, this job promoted her to supermodel status. After that work, magazines such as Glamour and Cosmopolitan took notice fast.
yamilla has been on the cover of many great magazines. She has been on such titles as: Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, Glamour, Max, Shape, GQ and Elle. yamilla Diaz_Rahi was also named the first ever Latino woman to be named a Cover Girl spokes model.
yamilla currently resides in Manhattan with her Italian artist boyfriend, Giuliano Trivia.
